Attorneys

Margaret J. Wilson holds a B.A. in English from Humboldt State University, and a J.D. from the University of Oregon.  Her practice focuses on employment advising and litigation for businesses and individuals, as well as general civil litigation, and domestic partnership planning.  She regularly litigates cases in Federal Court, Oregon State Court, and before administrative agencies.  Margaret is admitted to practice law in Oregon, the Ninth Circuit Federal Court, and is a member of the Oregon State Bar and the Lane County Bar Association.  Margaret was Chair of the Employment Law Section of the Lane County Bar Association for three years, and was also on the Executive Board of the Civil Rights Section of the Oregon State Bar.  Margaret currently serves as a pro tem municipal court judge in Creswell, Oregon.  Before practicing law in Oregon, Margaret was an attorney in New Mexico from 1993 to 1998.

Andrew (“Andy”) Lewinter graduated cum laude from Georgia State College of Law in 2004,where he served as articles editor of the Georgia State Law Review. After graduating from law school, he served as Counsel at the National Labor Relations Board in Washington, D.C., and has been in private practice, representing labor unions and individual employees in employment matters,since 2006. Andy moved to Eugene from New Mexico in 2007 and opened a solo practice here in January 2008. Andy is admitted to practice in Oregon and New Mexico. Andy is “of counsel” to the Wilson Law Office. Staff

Anna Thomas holds a B.S. in Pre-Medical Sciences from the University of Oregon, and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Mexico.  Before college, Anna spent 4 years working as a medical technician for the U.S. Coast Guard.  Anna enjoys managing the Wilson Law Office, spending time with her son, and cycling.  Anna’s claim to fame:  Junior Mechanical Engineering Student of the Year Award Recipient, 1997.

John Deininger is the law clerk for the Wilson Law Office. He assists the attorneys with research of legal issues and writing legal briefs. John holds a B.A. in History, Psychology and Political Science from Miami University (OH). He is in his third and final year of law school at the University of Oregon. When John is not studying or working, he serves as the Operations Editor for the Journal of Environmental Law and Litigation, runs, bikes, watches college football, and enjoys grilling. He hopes to enjoy much more free time when he finally finishes school. John’s claim to fame: In the summer of 2003 John participated in a cross country fund raising bike ride for people with disabilities.   

Sue Taylor received her education from the University of Washington with a major in Sociology.  She has been the receptionist at Watkinson, Laird, Rubenstein, Baldwin & Burgess, PC for 6 years.  Prior to that she was the Office Manager for a physician for 15 years and, more recently, was the sole proprietor of Pedal ‘n’ Paddle, a bike and kayak store in Port Angeles, WA for 15 years.  She’s involved in volunteer work with U of O Track and Field, Festival of Trees, Habitat for Humanity, and Food for Lane County.  Her interests include skiing both downhill and cross country, snowshoeing, sea kayaking, cycling, camping, hiking and backpacking.
